Designed specifically around the Kessil AP700’s approximately 20-inch-long lighting panel, this full-length shade system uses two durable polycarbonate panels and an adjustable bracket system to provide coverage along both sides of the fixture.

Whether your aquarium is positioned near a television, couch, desk, walkway, or viewing area, this shade helps keep the bright LED glare out of your eyes and more of the visible light directed toward your aquarium.

Adjustable Shade Angles

The included brackets allow you to adjust both reflective polycarbonate shade panels to match your aquarium, mounting height, and preferred viewing angle.

Choose between:

• Flared-Out Angle for wider light coverage and moderate glare reduction
• Flat Angle for a balanced combination of coverage and light control
• Narrow Angle for maximum glare and light-spill reduction

Simply loosen the adjustment screws, reposition the shade brackets, and retighten them once you have selected your preferred angle.

Durable Polycarbonate Shade Panels

The two shade panels are made from durable polycarbonate material selected for its strength, lightweight construction, and resistance to cracking.

Each panel arrives with a protective film applied to its surface. Remove the protective film from both sides of each panel before installation.

The AP700 uses an internal fan with air-intake and ventilation openings. Always install the shade correctly and ensure the fixture’s cooling areas remain clear and unobstructed.

This light shade is precision-designed for the shape and dimensions of the Kessil AP700 LED Lighting Panel. It is not a universal shade and is not intended for the Kessil AP9X or other Kessil aquarium lights.
