Shipping Rates & Delivery
- Standard Shipping: $44.99 for FedEx Overnight shipping on standard orders.
- Free Shipping: Orders totaling $349.99 or more qualify for free standard shipping.
- Large order Shipping Fees: Orders requiring additional water, extra packaging, multiple boxes, or special handling may incur additional shipping charges. This may apply to orders containing multiple or larger fish. Reef Dealz reserves the right to charge additional fees when necessary and will notify you of any extra costs before shipping.
We currently ship within the continental United States (the 48 contiguous states) only. Please note that shipping fees are nonrefundable.
Packaging & Safe Delivery
Your livestock's health and safety are our priority. Every shipment is carefully prepared using appropriate packaging materials, including insulated boxes, sealed bags, and heat or cold packs when necessary to help maintain suitable temperatures during transit.
Orders containing large fish or larger quantities of livestock may require additional packaging or shipping arrangements, which could result in extra charges. We will contact you before shipping if additional costs apply.
Extreme Weather Shipping Policy
Weather conditions can significantly affect the safe transportation of live corals and fish. To help protect your livestock and maintain our Live Arrival Guarantee, daytime temperatures at the destination must be above 45°F and below 100°F.
Shipments may be delayed when weather conditions are unsuitable for safe delivery. If you have concerns about the weather in your area or would like to confirm whether your order can be shipped safely, please contact us before placing your order.
DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy
At Reef Dealz, we take pride in the quality of our livestock and want your order to arrive alive and healthy. In the unlikely event that a coral arrives deceased, we offer a Dead on Arrival (DOA) policy subject to the following requirements:
- Accept delivery on the first delivery attempt.
- Notify us within one hour of delivery and provide clear photographs of the deceased livestock as documentation.
- Submit your claim within the required timeframe so we can review the issue and determine eligibility.
Approved DOA claims will be resolved through store credit toward a future purchase or a replacement coral, at our discretion. Cash refunds are not offered for DOA claims.
Live Arrival Guarantee Limitations
Our Live Arrival Guarantee does not cover livestock loss resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Extreme or unsuitable weather conditions.
- Shipping carrier delays or delivery disruptions.
- Strikes, labor disputes, or other carrier-related interruptions.
- Governmental actions or acts of terrorism.
We also cannot guarantee compatibility between livestock and your existing aquarium inhabitants or tank conditions. Proper acclimation, water parameters, and appropriate aquarium care are the customer's responsibility.
Order Cancellations
If you cancel an order after placing it, a 3% credit card or PayPal processing fee will be deducted from your refund, where applicable. These processing fees are not refunded to us by the payment processor and therefore cannot be returned to the customer.
Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase to ensure that all items are correct and that you are ready to proceed.
